PET CARE

During the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. Paws of Perfection are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a vet.

DE-MATTING

In the event of matted fur needing a clip off, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. Due to matts sometimes being tight to the skin, the dog's skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that Paws of Perfection shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems 'uncovered' on a badly matted neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the dog including de-matting extra charge, whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job.

Please note that where de-matting is required, this usually incurs extra cost due to the extra time involved in ensuring your dog's comfort and safety.

AGGRESSIVE DOGS

Paws of Perfection reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the safety of the groomer and the pet. The owner agrees to inform Paws of Perfection prior to grooming if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendencies. The owner understands they will be held liable for all injures caused by their dog.

FLEAS

Please ensure that your dog is free of fleas as no dog will be groomed if found to have fleas. If fleas are found then the grooming will stop, Flea wash ONLY. The owner will be responsible for a fee to cover costs of flea wash, time taken by the groomer to disinfect all equipment and salon.  The customer will be responsible for any costs incurred for fumigation of the salon and any loss of earnings if the groomer is prevented from grooming other dogs.

CANCELLATIONS

Missed appointments will incur a fee of 100% of grooming charge. This also applies to cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given. If you are more then 15 mins late for your appointment, your appointment will be considered cancelled. As this will not leave enough time to complete your pet's groom in the professional manner that I deliver.   

DROPPING OFF / COLLECTION OF YOUR PETS

Please ensure you drop off and collect your pet at the agreed time because if you are late then it will affect my other customers. I am not a pet sitting service! I offer a one to one service which your dog benefits from, I  have a limited amount of cages so cannot keep your dog. Unless prior arrangement and agreed extra cost. dogs must be collected at the time advised, If your dog is late being collected then a charge will be incurred £5 charge per 30 minutes over time. 

Please make sure your pet has been walked and relieved itself prior to grooming!
